Filter-Ag Granules
Filter-Ag granules with large filtration surfaces maximize efficiency in removing suspended solids.
Filter-Ag offers a number of advantages over other filter media commonly used to remove suspended solids.
When designing systems with Filter-Ag, due to the high operating speeds and the significant efficiency provided by the loading, the equipment can be reduced in size.
Filter-Ag is lightweight, which in turn requires less backwash water flows. Filter-Ag can be used in both pressurized and non-pressurized water treatment systems.
Filter-Ag typically retains 20-40 micron suspended particles.
ADVANTAGES
Lowest pressure loss compared to most other filter media.
Low backwash water flow due to the lightweight of the particles.
Lower equipment cost and smaller footprint due to high flow rates in service mode.
The high dirt-holding capacity of the load and, as a result, longer filter operation with a decrease in operating costs, water consumption for backwashing, and service time.
Lightweight for transportation.
Providing an increase in the dirt holding capacity of the filter up to 100% when replacing the sand with Filter-Ag.
